Before I went to 氣功 classes I never knew there were so many ways to change the way we inhale and exhale oxygen. After classes and practicing in the morning, I realized there was an enormous difference. With longer attention spans and not feeling as tired after a long day. The body we possess is ours, and no one can take care of your body except ourselves. It was definitely a privilege to have such an amazing instructor like Professor James. If you look close enough, you will see people develop bad habits in the morning especially with drinking coffee to feel more awake and alert. I am happy and proud to say that I’ve found my cup of coffee in the morning with 氣功 !
My 3 favorite moves are :
馬步、穿腿
Stomach of steel: Can’t stress how important it is to know where all of a human 氣 is stored. Practicing on how to use it is very important as well. Controlling the 氣 for different purposes including incline walking, working out and even using the bathroom.
Learning how to stretch and put tension on my inner thigh muscle has helped me in a great deal to stand for a longer time. I am a person who isn’t able to stand very long. Most people would tell me my upper body and lower body doesn’t look proportionate.
That’s because I tend to work out my upper body a lot more than my lower body.
天人鼓
Has helped me in a great deal learning to get rid of bad chi. And exchanging new ones. After 天人鼓 I’ve realized it feels almost the same as going to the gym. It is extremely effective for me to prepare for a long day.

Thank you for your patience with me and the classmates. I sincerely hope I am able to take the advanced course when I come back next time for my vacation.
